The circular was issued after the meeting of the board held in New Delhi.

Thomas, has submitted a proposal to the Central Excise and Customs Board for the setting up of a Sub-Register of Seized Assets. This register will act as a repository for the submission of applications made by the people seeking the extension of tax refunds in Tamil Nadu.
